today the first step was made that would be part of a bigger whole -- raphael's future as a young wizard would soon have its kick-off.nerves were coursing through the little guy as he wandered the streets of the famously known rue de flamel, the wizarding shopping street where everyone collected their things if they had been given the chance to start their academic career at Beauxbatons academy of magic -- or elsewhere. raphael was no exception, albeit the little french garçon was an equal amount of thrilled as he was scared. the dirty blond, almost swallowed up by the crowd of wizards and witches wrapped in the darkest robes they could find, allowed those hazel hues which flickered with curiosity to dance across the oddly shaped street. it was not an entirely new experience for him, not at all -- he'd grown up between witches and wizards, but experiencing this very street in a new light caused different feelings to stir in his stomach. different feelings that he could not quite place. tempted to ask his mother raphael's head slowly tilted upwards to presumely cross eyes with her. surprisingly enough she was not to be seen and the young wizard could slowly feel the panic within him rising.

"no- no- no!" they exclaimed as he pushed himself through a group of people, the crowd becoming thicker and almost giving him the impression he was about to suffocate. luckily, he reached an open space. right in front of a large building that he had yet to enter. unaware of what to do, raphael chose to rest on the pavement that was higher up and closer to the large building's entrance. to make himself feel somewhat safe, raphael pulled his knees in -- making himself crawl up into a little ball. only hoping his mother would be back soon.

How can you feel so nervous when you've been here so many times? Delphine is hiding her face behind her hair like she always does. Her mother's hand feels warm and ensuring everything will be alright. But it's so busy in here, how can it be alright? And when you have to buy so many things for school, it's so easy to forget something! Totally stressed out and absorbed in thoughts, she follows her mother to the first shop. There are so many kids of Delphine's age in Rue Flamel today, but most of them seem so calm and excited.

Still holding her mother's hand, she's walking through a big crowd. Delphine is feeling so scared, small and stressed out. When her mother pulls her away from the crowd to an open space, she's finally able to breathe again. She's still feeling a bit stressed, but when she sees the boy on the pavement, alone, all her fears are gone for a second. Delphine pulls her mother's hand and pointed at the lonely boy. 'Mom, he's alone. Can we help him?' She keeps staring at the boy, not sure what to do.

Hard, wooden door falling shut behind them, mismatched footsteps try to keep up with the adults around her. Pleading eyes look up at the hardened look of her father. "Per favore, papá, per favore !" The nervousness of entering such a magical place for the first time had vanished the second brown hues had fallen upon the softest, fluffiest looking animals she'd ever seen. The pleas constantly falling from her lips as she practically begs her father for the pet. When small hands wrap around bigger, more calloused ones, Louisiana tries to tug him back with her but it was all in vain.

Suddenly stopping, stubbornly waiting for her father to agree with her one and only request !! ( which would be forgotten in the next hour, her father would think ) her eyes catch something sitting besides her. Just like her father thought, the worries were forgotten and replaced by a certain new one. Head cocked to the side, she speaks up, "Ciao ragazzo." a big smile covering her face though even that one fades fast when she notices the panick-stricking look on the boy's face. Brows knit together, an unsure "are you okay?" being questioned, doubting he would understand her.

the current frantic state of mind the young french boy dwelled in would not be easily get rid of.it was something that completely took control of raphael's being -- it consumed him at times, it had happened plenty of times even when he was only a baby. his mother did not know what to do at first, she had thought about using spells to calm him down but she was afraid that it would only worsen his condition. but as he grew up, raphael was able to have an anchor with his mother. her soothing voice capable of calming his wary mind down. but with the increasing dependence for his mother, it was quite a shock whether they parted or when raphael would lose her in the midst of a public place -- similar to now.

raphael tried to focus -- counting until ten, backwards and so on. thinking of every little mind game that might help him to get through this. the crowd was approaching, at least it was what raphael's mind made up, in response he pulled his knees even closer thinking it would protect him from the illusion of an approaching crowd. a crowd that would swallow him up and never let go. startled by a voice, raphael's head tilted up slightly to allow those watery hazel hues to cross with warm brown ones. despite his insecurity it almost felt like a reassurance that things would be fine -- it caused the dirty blond to crack a soft smile, "my mom- she's- i lost her," he stuttered as that little smile turned back into a sad pout. there was trouble in pulling his eyes away from the brunette, but they slowly averted and noticed a blonde girl tugging at her mother's arm; staring. instead of continuing to panic, the boy's cheeks flushed a soft pink. he was embarrassed, everyone must have seen him -- he was crying, people saw him cry.

Through the dense crowd a boy with dark brown locks and dark brown eyes was constantly pulling the hand of a grey, aged lady in a purple dress.
"Miss, what is Olli- Ollivane- Ollivanders?" the boy said, the woman looked down and calmly answered: "That's where you will get your very own wand.".
The boy's eyes became bigger and he exclaimed: "I want to go there first! Can we go there, Miss? Can we? Please?"
The lady looked up again and told the boy they should first pay a visit to Gringotts Wizarding Bank, where they would exchange money first.

A little bit disappointed the boy looked around and in front of a building, on the steps a boy was sitting, sobbing.
The boy pulled his small hand out of the grip of the lady's hand and ran towards the boy with the pinkish cheeks.
He stopped right in front of the other boy and shortly looked at the girl with the brown hair, he curiously asked: "Is something wrong? Can I help you?"
He looked at the boy with a sincere smile on his face and sat down beside him, waiting for an answer.

Together with her father Beaubelle walked down the street of Rue Flamel. It wasn't far from their home since they lived in Paris too. Beaubelle loved Paris and especially the shops, with every visit she always brought home a new piece of clothes. She couldn't really help it, it seemed like a addiction and the fact that her parents didn't mind her spending money made it all normal. And today she was her with her dad, because Beaubelle never really spend some time with her mother. She wanted too but it seemed that her mother didn't want it as much as Beaubelle did. The blonde smiled at her father and took his hand. " Are we almost there dad?'' the young girl asked to her big example. She couldn't wait to buy her very first wand, and had a lot of expectations.

As the blonde almost arrived at her destination she saw a group of people and one crying boy from around her age. The blonde stopped for a moment and pulled her dad along with her. '' What's going on here? '' Beaubelle asked curious and looked at the crying boy. She hated it when she saw people crying, she herself was almost never sad, since she enjoyed her perfect life. But when it didn't went as she wanted thing to go, she could be really mad.

Brown hues flicker to the two new kids suddenly appearing besides them and offering the boy some good natured words. A beaming smile is thrown their way, greeting them both before Louisiana's attention returns to the distraught boy. Offering her hand before she speaks, giving him the choice to either grab it or not. "We could try to search for her, together. With a group as big as ours it would be easier to find her! Right? The question is directed at the blonde and the other boy. "And our parents can join us, so we don't lose them too!" It was a pretty solid idea in her opinion.

as more people joined around him, raphael felt the need to make himself become small again. thus, the boy in great distress pulled his knees closer to his chest -- wishing to simply be swallowed up by the street, to have nothing but complete silence surround him. unfortunately, that was not the case nor would he be able to simply sink into the stoned pavement he sat down on. multiple questions were asked, all of them going right over his head -- he did not know these people, why should he answer their curiosities ?? luckily, a hand shot out from the dark depths of the crowd raphael thought was swallowing up and it urged him on to take hold of it. which he did, pulling himself up from the pavement with knees that were pushed against each other, his calves tensed in the black trousers he wore that had some dirt on them from the pavement he sat on. "y-yes, we can look for her together," hazel eyes trying their best to avoid locking with any other colourful hues that were trying to look for a connection with him. "m-aybe.. unless you are busy." he wouldn't want to take anyone's precious time, it was not like they knew him either.

now that raphael's hand was interwined with the girl's, he could feel everything start to calm down. the sun looked like it was back up, the moody clouds were slowly parting to reveal a beautiful blue sky and the crowd that seemed so intimidating revealed itself to become only a handful of people that expressed their worries about him. "thank you." presuming it was the only way he could thank the group of people that came to his rescue, for now. as his fragile confidence slowly returned, raphael gatehred all of his courage to tilt his head upwards -- to lock eyes with the girl that had helped him out by offering her hand. still, he didn't really turn to the other people, not sure how that would go since he was still holding a firm grip onto the brunette's offered hand. maybe he should let go, but he did not want to risk for the dark clouds to return and the crowd to come back rushing towards him.

Delphine watched all the people joining the group. She looked up to her mom, who looked like she was determined to help too. She was feeling a bit overwhelmed, but also proud of all the kind people. She locked her eyes on the boy who lost his mother, not sure what to ask next. Her brain was racing with ideas to find the boys mother. What does she look like? There are probably so many people who look the same. Maybe a name? Yes, that should do it! She looked up to her mother again. ' Maybe we should ask for his mother's name?' Waiting for approval, she stared at her mother, to make sure she would ask the right thing.

When she got her approval, she looked at the boy again. Smiling shyly, she was looking for the courage to ask the boy for his mother's name. Eh, ahum.. ' She coughs in the hope the boy would hear what she was asking. ' What is your mother's name?' She tried to talk loud enough for him to hear her question.
